Bookbinding

Requirements for Hot Melts used in Bookbinding applications:

  • Good substrate penetration;
  • High temperature resistance, especially for publications intended for exporting;
  • Flexibility and good lay-flat;
  • Versatility - adhesion to a number of substrates;
  • Low odor and low fume emissions;
  • Good performance with gluing machines;
  • Light color.

Photo Albums

Our Kmelt TECHNOLOGY™ adhesives are recommended for all standard applications and our Kmelt CLEVERBIND™ range is suitable for those demanding utilizations.

Requirements for Hot Melts used in Photo Albums applications:

  • Good adhesion to photo paper;
  • Quick melting;
  • Maximum reactivation temperature = 90 °C (194 °F);
  • Light color.
